Naasir holds BSc Accounting with Information Systems from the University of Mauritius and is also a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. Naasir has over 15 years of experience in the financial services sector ranging from being an Auditor at Deloitte, a Fund Administrator at International Financial Services Ltd, a Senior Fund Accountant at SBM Mauritius Asset Management, Head of Finance at AfrAsia Capital Management Ltd, to being a Partner in an Accounting firm. During his career he has specialised in Fund Administration and Accounting where he successfully administered several equity and fixed income funds and supervised a team of more than 20 people.  He has successfully set up from scratch, several Administration platforms in start-up companies. He also detains an in-depth knowledge of the regulator’s requirements with regards to reporting standards. He has also implemented risk management policies and procedures to ensure that organizational risks are minimized.
