Global Headquarters Administration

The Financial Services Act (FSA) allows for companies to hold a Global Headquarters Administration issued by the Financial Services Commission (FSC). This license is provided to holding companies incorporated in Mauritius and belonging to a well established international group and allows multinational companies can set up their regional administration, procurement and accounting offices within the Mauritius International Financial Centre (IFC).  To be eligible for a Global Headquarters Administration license a company should engage in the provision of at least 3 of the following services to at least 3 related corporations:

The MUHQ benefits from 8 years tax holiday. There are no Mauritius capital gains tax, dividend, or interest withholding taxes in Mauritius.

Key Requirements:

    • •   Normal requirements of a global business company
    • •   Minimum of 10 resident full-time professionals; of which at least 2 at senior managerial positions
    • •   Physical office in Mauritius
    • •   Annual Operating Expenditure of MUR 5 million
